Control Tower Analyst

JOB PURPOSE

To analyze, interpret, and report on Control Tower operational data, ensuring visibility across inbound and outbound logistics processes. This role supports decision-making by providing actionable insights, identifying risks, and ensuring data accuracy in line with operational KPIs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on inbound and outbound CT activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
2. KPI Monitoring: Track performance indicators such as delivery conformance, TAT, order fulfillment, and route deviations.
3. Risk Identification: Highlight operational risks (delays, non-conformance, route deviations) and escalate appropriately.
4. Insights Generation: Use analytics to recommend process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost optimization.
5. Telematics Integration: Consolidate GPS and telematics data for reporting and performance dashboards.
6. Collaboration: Support inbound/outbound trackers with insights and consolidated reports for client updates.
7. Data Visualization: Develop dashboards for live monitoring of operational KPIs.
8. Compliance & Transparency: Ensure reporting aligns with client requirements and is fully auditable.
9. Data Presentation: Present data analysis findings to project teams or clients as needed, clearly communicating insights and recommendations.
10. Training and Development: Work closely with the Data Processing Manager to train junior data processing staff on statistical methods and the generation of insights from data.
11. Documentation and Transparency: Ensure that data analysis processes are properly documented to improve transparency and serve as a reference for future projects.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years in data analytics, preferably in supply chain/logistics.

QUALIFICATION

1. Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a Supply Chain related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
2. Advanced training in data analytics preferred

4. Proven experience in data analysis, including the use of statistical methods and data visualization tools.
5. Strong understanding of data processing and data migration techniques.
6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
