JOB PURPOSE


To monitor inbound logistics operations, track courier movements using GPS and telematics, allocate couriers to loads appropriately, and ensure live visibility of shipments, proactively identifying risks to the inbound plan.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  1. Vehicle Tracking: Monitor inbound couriers using GPS and telematics systems.
  2. Allocation: Assign the right courier size to the correct commodity/load type.
  3. Live Updates: Share real-time inbound trip updates with relevant stakeholders.
  4. Risk Management: Identify and call out risks (delays, breakdowns, congestion) impacting inbound schedules.
  5. Visibility: Maintain and share inbound visibility reports and dashboards.
  6. Collaboration: Work with Control Tower Analyst to integrate inbound data into overall CT reporting.
  7. Compliance: Ensure all inbound movements comply with SOPs and KPIs set.


KEY SKILLS


  1. Knowledge of telematics and GPS tracking systems
  2. Strong communication skills for live updates and escalation
  3. Logistics and transport planning knowledge
  4. Problem-solving and decision-making
  5. Microsoft Excel/Power BI for visibility dashboards


EXPERIENCE


Minimum 2 years in transport/logistics operations.
