Safety Coach
Platinum Outsourcing & Logistics (E.A) Ltd invites internal applications from candidates who are suitably qualified and experienced with excellent credentials to fill the position of a safety coach.
Key Responsibilities
• Demonstrate to the loaders on how to safely go about the various activities loading/unloading, empties offloading
loading;
• Attend daily tier 1 meetings and ensure 100% attendance and highlight any safety (QHSE) issues/observations;
• Raise and report SIRC’s cards on unsafe acts and conditions in every shift;
• Ensure zero unsafe acts/conditions on site;
• Ensure 100% PPE’s compliance and adherence.
• Continuously ensure 5S principles are always being adhered to in the warehouses and operation areas
• Support in enforcing all QHSE regulations to ensure safe working conditions and practice within the Warehouse at all times.
• Observe proper stacking standards within the
• warehouses and the yard;
• Enforce clear gangways, fire points and emergency exits.
• Report all near misses immediately.
Minimum Qualifications
• KCSE certificate
• Minimum of Diploma
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
Experience
- 2 years’ experience in FMCG tasks(All Rounded) and more specifically to loading and other operations;
- 2 years’ experience in the loading and unloading activities.
