SPEED Super User
Platinum Outsourcing & Logistics (E.A) Ltd invites applications from candidates who are suitably qualified and experienced with excellent credentials to fill the position of SPEED Super User based in Nairobi.
Job Purpose
To serve as the primary SPEED system expert within the coffee warehouse, ensuring accurate system usage, data integrity, user compliance, operational continuity, and timely resolution of system-related issues. The role provides first-line support to SPEED users and acts as the link between warehouse operations, management, and IT/system support
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the primary SPEED system expert and point of contact for warehouse operations.
• Ensure all warehouse transactions are accurately and timely processed in SPEED.
• Monitor system transactions and identify errors, discrepancies, duplicate entries, and data inconsistencies.
• Support users in resolving SPEED-related operational and transactional issues.
• Train and coach new and existing SPEED users on system procedures and best practices.
• Monitor user compliance with approved SPEED processes and controls.
• Conduct regular reconciliation of SPEED records against physical stock and warehouse documentation.
• Investigate system and inventory variances and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
• Coordinate with IT/SPEED support teams on system faults, access issues, bugs, and required system changes.
• Maintain proper control over user access and ensure system permissions align with assigned responsibilities.
• Support system testing, upgrades, process changes, and implementation of new SPEED functionalities.
• Generate and review SPEED reports to support warehouse operations, inventory control, and management decision-making.
• Ensure proper audit trails and documentation for all system transactions and adjustments.
• Support stock-taking exercises, audits, investigations, and reconciliation processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes through effective use of SPEED.
• Escalate critical system or operational issues that may affect warehouse productivity, stock integrity, or customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of system and customer information.
• Perform any other duties related to SPEED administration and warehouse operations as assigned.

Qualifications And Experience
• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years' experience in warehouse, logistics, commodity handling, or a similar environment.
• Demonstrated experience using SPEED or a comparable warehouse management system.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory control, stock reconciliation, and documentation.
• Good Microsoft Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Experience training or supporting other system users.
