Warehouse Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
Operations
• Allocate equipment, warehouse space, and personnel in accordance with the Operations planning schedule.
• Conduct daily operations/toolbox meetings with the Warehouse team.
• Conduct daily spot checks to ensure warehouse staff adhere to rules and procedures as published in the relevant operations SOP.
• Co-ordinate Storage, Inbound and outbound activities of shipments both physically and System in a timely, safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure correct stacking and storage procedures are adhered to as per SOP, Warehouse manager instruction, and QHSE rules.
• Perform monthly stock takes with gap analyses and action plan follow-up in accordance with SOP.
System
• Verify data captured to ensure accuracy.
• Generate goods receipts/dispatch notes on WMS.
• Ensure system is always aligned with physical stocks.
• Ensure every physical movement is recorded in the WMS on time and accurately.
• Cross check all transactions to what is in physical stock movement ledger at end of shift.
Safety
• Ensure that all QHSE regulations are complied with to ensure safe working conditions and practices within the warehouse.
• Ensure security procedures are always adhered to as per SOP in warehouse and perform daily checks for compliancy.
Documentation and Reporting
• Ensure that warehouse clerks hand all warehouse documentation to the administration manager in a timely manner.
• Counter sign all Dispatch docs, tally sheets and stock take sheets to ensure stock accuracy.
• Maintain catalogue of all items in warehouse.
• Generate stock reports that are required by clients and management.
• Provide reports as per Warehouse manager /clients requirements.
• Process discrepancy and damage reports as needed.
• Ageing Reports on all stocks shared on a Weekly basis.
Personnel
• Supervise permanent and casual staff in the warehouse to ensure their job activities are performed correctly.
Others
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and that warehouse-cleaning roster is up to date all times.
• Inform IT manager of any issues or shortcomings faced on WMS
• Carry out all delegated tasks from Warehouse manager.
• Evaluate complaints received on shipments of equipment and stock and take appropriate action
Minimum Qualifications
• Education in either logistics or supply chain management will be an advantage.
• WMS experience
• Training in MS Office suite and other industry-related courses will be an advantage.

Experience
• 3 years’ experience in supply chain with specific focus on warehousing
